is it enough—?
people want and want, more and more. when will enough really be enough? sometimes, people don’t know when to shut up. they talk and talk and they don’t realize how irritated people around them are getting, they repeat and repeat, and you wonder to yourself, ‘have they not said enough yet?’. sometimes, people don’t know how to forgive. they sit there, complaining about crap, and your thinking, ‘how hard is it to just forgive? is all this drama not enough yet?’ sometimes, people don’t know when to let go. they hold on to the emptiness, the heartbreak, the disapointment for so long that its not the fall that’ll kill them its the torture. ‘have they lost their mind? move along, you’ve endured enough’—. sometimes people don’t know when to toughen up. they sit there letting people pick on them, letting people bring them down. when really, all they got to do is stand a little taller, roar a little louder. ‘how can you let this happen? haven’t you had enough?”. the scenarios go on and on and on forever.
what i am trying to say is, we overmeassure enough, we live in our own hopes and we’re so scared of being disapointed that we don’t realize how disapointing we’ve become. it really just isn’t about if things are enough or not enough, its about what makes you happy, what makes you satisfied, and then you will realize that enough, is not a maximum, its suppose to be just right, just perfect, just enough for you.
